At Sports Shoe Store, we understand that finding the perfect running shoes is as important to you as your next personal best. While we strive to help you select the ideal pair, we know that sometimes returns or exchanges are necessary. Our policy is designed to be as runner-friendly as our shoes.
Our Return & Exchange Promise
We accept returns and exchanges within 15 days of receiving your order. All returned items must be:
- In original condition (unworn, with tags attached)
- In the original packaging (including shoe box)
- Accompanied by proof of purchase
Note: For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on worn running shoes or items without their original packaging. This helps us maintain quality standards for all our runners.
How to Initiate a Return or Exchange
Step 1: Contact Our Team
Email us at [email protected] with your request using the template below:
Step 2: Receive Return Authorization
Within 1-2 business days, we’ll email you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and shipping instructions.
Step 3: Ship Your Return
Package your item securely (we recommend using the original box inside another shipping box) and include:
- The RMA number clearly visible on the outside
- A copy of your order confirmation or packing slip
Step 4: Processing Your Return
Once we receive and inspect your return (typically within 3-5 business days after arrival), we’ll process your:
- Refund: To your original payment method
- Exchange: Ship your new item per your request
Refund Timeline & Methods
Refunds are processed within 3-5 business days after we receive and approve your return. The timing depends on your payment provider:
- Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, JCB): 5-10 business days to appear on your statement
- PayPal: 3-5 business days
Shipping Costs
Original shipping fees are non-refundable. For exchanges, we’ll cover standard shipping costs for your replacement item.
Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility unless the return is due to our error (wrong item shipped, defective product, etc.).
International Returns
For our global runners (excluding Asia and some remote areas), please note:
- You’re responsible for return shipping costs and any customs fees
- We recommend using a trackable shipping service
- Original shipping method determines return timeline (DHL/FedEx vs EMS)
Non-Returnable Items
For the safety and satisfaction of all our customers, we cannot accept returns on:
- Worn running shoes (for hygiene reasons)
- Items without original packaging
- Personalized/customized products
- Clearance or final sale items (will be marked as such)
Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive a damaged or defective product, contact us immediately at [email protected] with photos of the issue. We’ll arrange a free return and expedite your replacement.
